Chiba Bay Area is a region located in the northwestern part of Chiba prefecture. It includes the cities of Chiba, Urayasu, Ichikawa, and Narashino.
This area is home to the most visited theme parks in Japan, "Tokyo Disneyland" and "Tokyo Disney Sea," and many people come throughout the year. Other than that, there is Makuhari Messe, an exhibition hall where large-scale events and exhibitions such as video game and anime hobby shows are held, as well as substantial shopping facilities such as LaLaport TOKYO-BAY and IKSPIARI.
This region is most easily accessible by train. Because Narita Airport is located here, it is possible to take buses from the airport to the different spots. This region is next to Tokyo so it takes about 20 minutes by the Keiyo line to get to Maihama station, where Tokyo Disneyland is located.
